Mr Jones leads our RE curriculum.

Our curriculum ensures that children learn about and appreciate a diverse range of religions, beliefs and worldviews. Through thoughtful teaching and open discussion, pupils explore the values, traditions and practices of different faiths, helping them develop curiosity, understanding and respect. As small rural schools in North Devon, we recognise the importance of broadening children’s experiences beyond their immediate community. Providing balanced and inclusive religious education helps pupils develop cultural awareness, challenge stereotypes and appreciate the richness of a diverse society. By fostering respect for the beliefs of others, we aim to equip our children with the empathy and openness they need to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
